This is a booklet which I print for all level 1 Carpentry and Joinery learners. It takes learners all year to work the way through and helps prepare for any tests or exams throughout the year. Tasks include basic joints, skirting, architrave, roofing as well as lots of feedback and marking opportunities. Also included are links to Maths, English and British Values. I have had great feedback from learners and staff. This is perfect for Level 1 full time or apprentice learners as well as Multi Skill or high school learners.

This is a booklet for learners to fill in on the topic of Second Fix. This is ideal to cover the whole topic in instalments, in one go or as a revision activity. The booklet suits both Cskills and City & Guilds versions of the Second fix topic. The booklet is 13 pages long and can be added to a moodle or google drive type learning environment or printed out. By completing the booklet learners should be able to state how to install doors and ironmongery, know how to fix mouldings, know how to install service encasements and cladding and state how to install kitchen units, worktops and fitments. I have used this booklet many times and learners seem to enjoy the scenario and the change from the usual activities I give.
